With the Banner page NBAJOBS, you can get details about the job (or jobs) associated with a given PCC employee. Details include the position number, start / end date, job title, pay rate, pay grade/level/step, FTE, and last paid date for each job. NBAJOBS is also a useful page for determining which department budget (Fund, Org., Account, Program) is funding the employee's position(s).

Directions:
  1. From the Banner Main Menu, type NBAJOBS, then press Enter on your keyboard.

  2. Type the person's G Number (or SSN) in the ID field.

    • If you do not know the G#, look it up by clicking on the 3 dots just to the right of the ID field.
    • For help looking up a G#, see our ID Search Tips.

      3. If you have a specific position number and/or suffix number you wish to get details about, type it in the "Position" and "Suffix" fields.

         OR, to see a list of all positions associated with the employee,

    1. Click on the 3 dots, located just to the right of the "Position" field.
    2. Click on "List of Employee's Jobs (NBIJLST)." A list of all jobs associated with this employee will appear.

      4. On the next screen, double-click on any position number on the list to get more details about that particular job.

    • (Double-clicking on any position number on the list takes you back to NBAJOBS, where you can view details about the job (after pressing the Go button).

      5. Click on the various tabs to view information such as the position's pay rate, grade/level/step, and FTE.

    • The "Labor Distribution" tab shows which department budget(s) is/are funding the employee's position.

Additional details can be accessed by clicking on the "Options" Menu at the top of your screen.

      6. To exit NBAJOBS, click the exit Exit icon.

 

Viewing an Employee's Job History

 

If you need details about earlier jobs held by an employee, rather than just current jobs an employee is holding, you can change the date near the top right corner of the screen:

 

Directions:

  1. Follow Steps 1, 2, and 3b above to look up an employee and get a list of their jobs.

  2. Click the Start Over button to look up another employee.
  3. Click on the small "Calendar" icon, located just to the right of the Query Date field on the upper right corner of the screen. 
  4. Choose a date using the calendar tool.
    • The date you indicate will be the "from" date of your query. When you view a list of the employee's jobs, it will show all jobs held from the date you indicate here up to the present time.

  5. Click the Go button to see a list of the employee's jobs.

    These instructions do not work. There is no Go button. There is no OK to press when choosing a date using the calendar tool.

  2. There is a "Go" button. It is located in the upper right hand area of the screen–below the related and tools buttons.
