Integration Year Pilot project: In 2021-2022, the LAC has developed a pilot project - this would be in lieu of an annual assessment project (not in addition to) for those SACs that submit a proposal (see first two questions in the Template below) by November 5, 2021. See additional informational materials below if you are interested in the pilot integration project.

• Brief video recording of the October 18 session. We only recorded the presentation portion of the session and kept Q&A out of the recording. We will provide some FAQ here soon.

*The outcomes of all certificates one-year in length or longer, and all degrees, are to be assessed with some regularity. The exception is a department that has no full-year certificates or degrees; in that case, they need to assess the outcomes of their less-than-one-year certificate(s).

2021-2022 LDC-DE Expectations

• • • Completed LAC Assessment/Reassessment template (second half of the template submitted in the fall) describing the process and results of this year's assessment and pertinent appendices. These documents will be posted to the public side of Spaces. Please refrain from including the names/IDs of students in, or the faculty teaching, the classes assessed. 
    • If any changes were made to your project, please correct the planning portion of the document before submitting. This may include changes in process and/or completing information that wasn't decided on or available when the planning section of the report was due.

For CTE and LDC SACs doing Pilot Integration Year process

• Proposal due by November 5, 2021 (this entails answering the first two questions on the report template linked above).
  

• Response and feedback to proposal from Academic Affairs received  by November 10, 2021. This will help you decide whether or not to move forward with an Integration Project.
  
• Plan section due by December 10, 2021. This is the first half of the Integration Year Report Template. Note this is after the APU/ADU is due. Respond to questions 3A. Assessment Reports with information you will include in your plan.
• Full report due by June 24, 2021. This is the second half of the Integration Year Report Template.

Summer Peer Review

At the end of each academic year, all completed assessment reports are reviewed by expert faculty peer reviewers, many of which are current members of the Learning Assessment Council. Over the summer the peer reviewers look at the plans, reports, summary data (where appropriate), and other documents submitted by their assigned SACs and critique them using a standard rubric. When the feedback forms have been completed, they are saved as PDFs and made available in September to the respective SACs.
